I've bloged for 10 years ago. But it's written in Japanese because I'm Japanese.
Japanese people are bad in English. Me too. Why? Most Japanese don't need English in Japan. We can live to dead in Japan without English.
However most Japanese want to study English. To speak English is cool for Japanase. And Japanese economy is going to worse.
I'm loving Akihabara the OTAKU city. Most clerks in Akihabara shops speak English. Many people come Akihabara from many countries. English is common language.
Japanese economy is strong because Japanese car and electrical appliances is good and cheap. But factories are going to other asian countries. 10 years ago, bottom people in Japan were rich. They had high grade bags and travel to abroad. Now, they have no money, no job. Because factories closed.
Japan had grown in study the West knowledge. Because many Japanese can read English. But bad in talking and writing.
In 21th centry, I think that japanese must go out from the island. Rival are China and India. We are Japanese should make a party with ASEAN counties for against China and India.
We need English. I want to talk with southeast asian people. They can speak in English. For that reason I respond to elm200's project that Let's make a links for english blogs by Japanese(ja).
Japanese think about Japan in English, I think that is important.
